Luke Smile
Luke Smile is a contemporary lettering artist mainly focusing on large-scale murals, painted signs and graphic design. His unique style of lettering consists of precise forms, often embellished with spray textures and always incorporating a vibrant colour palette.
Luke works with a variety of unique lettering styles however the most recognisable and celebrated is his signature Smile Sans typeface. Smile Sans has been widely used throughout his career on murals scattered across the United Kingdom, for brands such as Karl Lagerfeld on their K-City handbag collection and for an upcoming limited edition label for Beefeater gin.
Luke works with enamel and spray paint for his studio artworks to create glossy and textured pieces. You’ll always find his iconic smiley face logo alongside all of his lettering and maybe lurking on its own in unexpected places around the world.
